Steve Digwell’s ‘Powered by Wonderpost’ allotment
Steve Digwell from Dursley, Gloucestershire, has sent us some pretty spectacular pictures of his new ‘Powered by Wonderpost’ allotment featuring all the luscious vegetables he’s grown.
As Steve’s a bit of a one man marketing machine we thought you’d like to know about his really interesting YouTube channel. Packed with information about his growing activities and other random stuff on Steve’s radar, it’s well worth a look – go to YouTube and search ‘Digwell Greenfingers’, you’ll be in for a real treat.
Check out Steve’s vid mentioning Wonderpost (about 2:20 to be exact) here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyEK5M2mqI0

Susie Copsey’s ‘Powered by Wonderpost’ garden
In our latest newsletter we called for Wonderpost Farm Fresh Compost users to send in pictures of their ‘Powered by Wonderpost’ gardens, and the response has been overwhelming with so many of you sharing photos of your wonderful gardens.
In the first of many posts showcasing your brilliant gardens, we turn to Susie Copsey, a long time Wonderpost Farm Fresh Compost user.
And in her own words:
This is what one year of Wonderpost does – even with a long hot summer!

Native Wild Flower BeeBombs

Hand made in Dorset, Beebombs are a mix of 18 British wildflower seeds, fine, sifted soil and locally sourced clay. Our seeds are native species and designated by the Royal Horticultural Society as “Perfect for Pollinators”
Beebombs just need to be scattered onto cleared ground to create a wildflower meadow that will #bringthebeesback

Wonderpost bags are NOW biodegradable
Yes, plastic can be biodegradable, and we’ve finally found a way to do it.
From 01/05/2020 all our Wonderpost bags are biodegradable which means when they’ve reached the end of their life, after you’ve ripped it open and chucked it away, it’ll just become water, Carbon Dioxide and biomass.
Another small step towards cleaning up the planet.
We thought you may also be interested in the manufacturing process.
The process:
Stages of oxo-biodegradation with d2w technology:
- d2w masterbatch is added at the manufacturing stage.
- Film containing d2w is extruded at the factory and is made into bags or packaging.
- The product behaves like a conventional product during its intended service life.
- After its service life, the bag or packaging may end up in the open environment.
- The d2w then takes effect and the product begins to degrade in the presence of oxygen.
- The product eventually degrades to nothing more than carbon dioxide, water and biomass.
